Mentor on Line is an innovation of the New Zealand Institute of Travel and Tourism Inc with the object of enabling members of the industry, and particularly students studying to gain New Zealand qualifications, with the opportunity to ask questions about study, courses and qualifications, and employment opportunities.
The Institute celebrates its 40th year in 2008. It is managed by a Council of stakeholders, and some from the industry education sector ,with its aim today of promoting the gaining of qualifications, upskilling, identifying training and skill needs, and facilitating training appropriate to the industry. The Institute works in close collaboration with the industry ITO - The Aviation, Travel and Tourism Training Organisation(ATTTO), The Travel Agents' Association of New Zealand (TAANZ) and the Tourism Industry Association of New Zealand (TIANZ).
