BORDER CONTROL USA
In conjunction with TAANZ and the Vice Consul from the US Consulate General in Auckland, NZITT staged seminars during Septemer and October outlining guidelines for foreign travellers to the USA under the Visa Waiver Program. Electronic travel authorization became effective on 12 January 2009 and all WVP travellers are now required to obtain an electronic travel authorisation prior to boarding a carrier to travel by air or sea to the U.S. under VWP.
